Unlawful Possession in New Jersey

Unlawful possession can be not having a gun permit or not having the right permit. New Jersey gun laws are very strict and sometimes people find they’ve violated the law without being aware of it. You must have a separate license for every handgun you own. If you do not have a carry-permit, you are only allowed to transport your gun between your home, your place of business, and a shooting range. You can be charged with a regulatory violation if you’re found with a gun in any other location.
